204-22 August 9, 2022 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COLLECTOR OF TAXES TO REFUND SEWER CHARGES AND REBATE PAYMENT TO THE LISTED TAXPAYER WHEREAS, due to a fire on April 24, 2022 at the building located at 72 Hart Drive (Block 164 Lot 35 C0072) and is uninhabitable and sewer bill was paid for 2022 resulting in an overpayment in the amount of $240.56. WHEREAS, documentation has been provided to the Office of the Tax Collector documenting said fire as justification for the sewer bill cancellation, and all other taxes and fees due to the Township have been satisfied, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Tax Collector and the Treasurer of the Township of West Orange be and they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to cause to be paid to the taxpayer on the attached list sums in full and final satisfaction of the overpayment of the 2022 sewer charge.
