697-22 August 9, 2022 WEST ORANGE TOWNSHIP ABC BOARD RESOLUTION APPROVING RENEWAL OF INACTIVE LICENSE 0722-33-049-009 FREDERIC N. KRUVANT (POCKET), NUNC PRO TUNC TO AUGUST 11, 2020, FOR THE 2020-21 LICENSE TERM PURSUANT TO SPECIAL RULING, N.J.S.A. 33:1-12.39. WHEREAS, in June of 2022, the Clerk of the West Orange ABC Board, believing that the following NJ ABC Licensee, License No. 0722-33-049-009 Fred Kruvant was qualified for renewal of said License for the 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 License Terms, according to her records having applied and paid all fees due for renewal of those Licenses and believing all other requirements to have been met as well; and WHEREAS, that Licensee was therefore included with others on West Orange Township ABC Board Resolution No. 688-22, adopted by the ABC Board at its regular meeting on June 28, 2022 renewing for the 2022/23 license term, Resolution No. 659-21 adopted by the ABC Board on June 22, 2021 renewing for the 2021/22 license term and Resolution No. 643-20 adopted on August 11, 2020 renewing for the 2020/21 License Terms; and WHEREAS, the Clerk having later realized the Licensee failed in fact to qualify for renewal in that the Licensee neglected to obtain Special Rulings pursuant to N.J.S.A. 33:1-12.39, for the 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 renewal periods, such failures and deficiencies requiring rescission of the Township’s annual approval for License No. 0722-33-049-009 Fred Kruvant for those License Terms; and WHEREAS, this Board has this 9th day of August, 2022, adopted ABC Board Resolution #696-22, rescinding the previous approvals for renewal of License No. 0722-33-049-009 Fred Kruvant for the 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 renewal periods; and WHEREAS, on July 8, 2022, the NJ State Division of ABC granted the Special Ruling permitting renewal of License No. 0722-33-049-009 Fred Kruvant for the 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 License terms nunc pro tunc to August 11, 2020 for the 2020-2021 License Term, nunc pro tunc to June 22, 2021 for the 2021-2022 License Term, and for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 License Terms; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Township of West Orange ABC Board on August 9, 2022 and no one appeared in opposition to this license renewal; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Township of West Orange ABC Board wishes to and hereby does renew License No.
