695-22 August 9, 2022 RESOLUTION OF THE WEST ORANGE TOWNSHIP ABC BOARD RESOLUTION RESCINDING IN PART ABC RESOLUTION NO. 688-22, REMOVING CERTAIN LICENSEES AS LICENSEES APPROVED FOR RENEWAL FOR THE 2022-2023 LICENSE TERM FOR FAILURE TO OBTAIN SPECIAL RULING WHEREAS, in June of 2022, the Clerk of the West Orange ABC Board, believing that the following NJ ABC Licensees, License No. 0722-33-012-002 Eagle Rock Lounge Corp, 0722-33-020-003 Miranda, Inc. t/a Franklin Tavern, 0722-33-063-005 Raghav Varma (pocket), 0722-33-068-016 Wilshire Hospitality Services, LLC, were qualified for renewal of said Licenses for the 2022-2023 License Term, according to her records having applied and paid all fees due for renewal of those Licenses and believing all other requirements to have been met as well; and WHEREAS, that the Licensees were therefore included with others on West Orange Township ABC Board Resolution No. 688-22, adopted by the ABC Board at its regular meeting on June 28, 2022, renewing for the 2022-2023 License Term those Licensees named in it; and WHEREAS, the Clerk having later realized that certain of the included Licensees had failed in fact to qualify for renewal in that the Licensees neglected to obtain Special Ruling for the 2022-23 renewal period, such failures and deficiencies requiring rescission in part of the Township’s annual approval of Licensees for the 2022-2023 License Term; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, SITTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE WEST ORANGE TOWNSHIP ABC BOARD, that the portion of West Orange Township ABC Resolution No. 688-22, listing License No. 0722-33-012-002 Eagle Rock Lounge Corp, 0722-33-020-003 Miranda, Inc. t/a Franklin Tavern, 0722-33-063-005 Raghav Varma (pocket), 0722-33-068-016 Wilshire Hospitality Services, LLC;, as qualified for renewal and renewing said Licenses for the 2022-2023 License Term, is to that extent and that extent only, hereby rescinded, excising those specific Licensees from the list of those which were to be renewed for that License term, all of the others listed having fully qualified for renewal and ABC Resolution No. 688-22 remaining effective and in force as to them, all in accordance with instructions received by and on behalf of the New Jersey ABC Licensing Bureau. ____________________________________
