Colliers Engineering and Design NO RESPONSE 400 Valley Road, Suite 304 Mt. Arlington, NJ 07856 Based on my review of the responses from the five firms, I recommend you award a Professional Services Contract to Crew Engineers, Inc., 1250 Route 23 North, Butler, NJ 07405 in the amount of $22,000.00. Crew Engineers, Inc. responded to the Townships RFQ for 2022 for Professional Services. Attached, is a Resolution awarding Professional Services Contracts to Crew Engineers, Inc., 1250 Route 23 North, Butler, NJ 07405 in the amount of $22,000.00 for services described in their proposal dated February 22, 2022. 54-22 March 15, 2022 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange proposes 2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project for improvements of Kingsley Street, Wheeler Street and Wheeler Street Sanitary Sewer; and WHEREAS, to design and specify these improvements the Township requires the services of a professional engineering firm and land surveying firm; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer prepared a Request for Proposals dated February 1, 2022 for these professional design services; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer solicited a proposal from six professional engineering and land surveying firms; and WHEREAS, Crew Engineers, Inc., responded to the Request for Proposal; and WHEREAS, Crew Engineers, Inc. have performed similar work for the Township on several projects and their work quality is very good; and WHEREAS, by letter dated March 7, 2022 the Township Engineer recommended a professional services contract be awarded to Crew Engineers, Inc., 1250 Route 23 North, Butler, NJ 07405 for a complete bid package including design plans, specifications and bid documents; and WHEREAS, Crew Engineers, Inc. responded to the Township’s Request for Qualifications for Professional Services for 2022; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist for the services outlined in the proposal of Crew Engineers, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, New Jersey that a professional services contract be awarded to Crew Engineers, Inc. to provide professional engineering services for the 2021 Community Development Block Grant Project for Kingsley Street, Wheeler Street and Wheeler Street Sanitary Sewer in the amount of $22,000.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be published in the West Orange Chronicle within ten (10) days of its approval as required by State Statute.
