221-22 September 6, 2022 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 54-22 dated March 15, 2022, the Township Council awarded Professional Services Contract to Crew Engineers, Inc., 1250 Route 23 North Butler, NJ 07405 in the amount of $22,000; and WHEREAS, the work under this contract included the preparation of bid documents and plans for two 2021 Community Development Block Grants for Kingsley Street, Wheeler Street and Wheeler Street Sanitary Sewer under one bid package for both projects; and WHEREAS, supplemental funds are needed to prepare two separate bid packages as required by Essex County who administers the Grants; and WHEREAS, the Municipal Engineer by letter dated August 24, 2022 recommends additional funding in the amount of $2,000.00 to complete the work; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist for this additional work; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that additional expenditure for the 2021 Community Development Block Grants for Kingsley Street, Wheeler Street and Wheeler Street Sanitary Sewer with Crew Engineers, Inc., 1250 Route 23 North Butler, NJ 07405 in the amount of $2,000.00 increase in the original contract amount is hereby approved bringing the adjusted contract amount to $24,000.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Municipal Engineer is authorized to execute the additional expenditure on behalf of the Township of West Orange.
