234-22 September 20, 2022 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on May 31, 2022, the Township submitted a grant application for 2022 TD Tree Days for tree planting at three suburban streets; and WHEREAS, the Township was awarded the grant in the amount of $11,900.00, and WHEREAS, the trees will be planted along the curb lines of Whittlesey Avenue, Watson Avenue and High Street; and WHEREAS, approximately 50 shade trees will be planted mostly on the right of way of High Street; and WHEREAS, the Arbor Day Foundation agreement for the 2022 TD Tree Days Planting Award agreement dated August 29, 2022 annexed hereto as Exhibit “A”, to memorialize the terms of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the Township Council, having reviewed the Arbor Day Foundation 2022 TD Tree Days Planting Award Agreement and authorize the execution and delivery of the same. NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, New Jersey the execution of the 2022 TD Tree Days Planting Award Agreement in connection with the TD Tree Days for tree planting grant be executed by Mayor Robert D.
