703-22 September 20, 2022 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, AMI West Orange, LLC is the current holder of Plenary Retail Distribution License No. 0722-44-027-005 of the Township of West Orange; and WHEREAS, application has been made for a person to person and place to place transfer of the above-mentioned license from AMI West Orange, LLC to Mountain Society, LLC, 161 Main Street, West Orange, NJ 07052; and WHEREAS, the principals of the applicant have been investigated by the Township Police Department with no impediments to an interest in an alcoholic beverage license having been found and the transfer having been recommended for approval; and WHEREAS, due notice of the proposed transfer was published in the West Orange Chronicle on August 11, 2022 and August 18, 2022, tax clearance for the transfer has been received and appropriate fees have been paid by the applicant; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted regarding the proposed person to person and place to place transfer on September 20, 2022, and no one appeared in opposition thereto; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council sitting as the ABC Board for the Township of West Orange, hereby approves the person to person and place to place transfer of Plenary Retail Distribution License No. 0722-44-027-005, from AMI West Orange, LLC to Mountain Society, LLC, 161 Main Street, West Orange, NJ 07052, West Orange, NJ 07052 effective immediately.
