269-22 October 25, 2022 R E S O L U T I O N BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey, that the contract for FALL 2022/SPRING 2023 TREE PLANTING AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS in the Township of West Orange be awarded to: CERBO’S PARSIPPANY GREENHOUSES, INC. 440 LITTLETON ROAD PARSIPPANY, NEW JERSEY 07054 who submitted the lowest responsive bid for supplying 200 trees of 20 different species along with vinyl tree guard, ArborTie, stakes, mulch, topsoil backfill, maintenance and guarantee in accordance with the contract specifications in the amount of $82,500; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the unit prices bid for planting an additional 200 trees through June 15, 2023 be accepted and a contract awarded for this work subject to the encumbrance of additional funds and the issuance of a Purchase Order. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Certified Checks and/or Bid Bonds of all except the lowest responsive bidder be forthwith returned, and the Mayor and Township Clerk be and they hereby are respectively authorized to execute and attest a contract for the foregoing.
