272-22 October 25, 2022 RESOLUTION Contract award to Thor Guard, Inc to provide One (1) Lighting prediction and warning system for Stagg Field and Rock Spring Golf Course WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange issued a bid to provide One (1) Lighting prediction and warning system for Stagg Field and Rock Spring Golf Course or approved equal; and WHEREAS, the Township advertised said bid on August 30, 2022 pursuant to the Local Public Contract Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23) and did receive one submission on the date and time advertised; and WHEREAS, the bid received from Thor Guard Inc. was reviewed by the West Orange Recreation Department and the Purchasing Agent which found said bidder to be responsible and responsive to the Township’s specifications and cost allowance with no exceptions, please see exhibit “A”; and NOW LET IT BE RESOLVED, by the Council of the Township of West Orange that the award of contract in the total amount of $48,790.00 go to Thor Guard Inc. located 1193 Sawgrass Corp Pkwy, Sunrise, Florida 33323 to furnish and deliver said equipment. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to arrange to pay by purchase order in accordance with the terms of the specifications and from funds certified available by the Chief Financial Officer.
