ONE-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR THE COLLECTION OF OUTSTANDING MUNICIPAL COURT DEBT THIS AGREEMENT EXTENSION, effective on the 31" day of October 2022, is by and between the TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, a municipal corporation of the State of New Jersey, having its principal offices at 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey, hereinafter referred to as “Township,” and RTR FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC a corporation of the State of New York having its principal offices at 2 Teleport Drive, Staten Island, New York 10311, hereinafter referred to as “Contractor.” WITNESSETH: ‘WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2B:19-6(a), the Township is authorized to enter into contracts with a private collection agency or firm for the collection of outstanding municipal court debt; and WHEREAS, pursuant to a competitive contracting process and Resolution No. 209-20, the Township entered into an agreement with Contractor for the private collection of municipal court debt (collectively, the “Agreement”), which Agreement became effective on November 1, 2020; and WHEREAS, the Agreement provided that the Agreement would be for a term of two (2) years, with an option to extend it for one (1) additional year; and NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and of the mutual covenants hereinafter stated, the parties do hereby agree as follows: 1. The Township and Contractor agree that the term of the Agreement shall be extended for one (1) additional year.

2. The Commencement Date of this extension shall be November 1, 2022, and shall be valid for one (1) additional year, through and including October 31, 2023. 3.
