305-22 November 22, 2022 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH DELTA DENTAL OF NEW JERSEY, INC. FOR EMPLOYEE DENTAL INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR 2023 WHEREAS, on or about September 17, 2013, the Township of West Orange Council authorized the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) to enter into a Contract for Employee Dental Insurance (the “Agreement”) with Delta Dental of New Jersey, Inc. (“Delta”); and WHEREAS, the Township seeks to renew the Agreement with Delta for a one-year term (the “Term”) from January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023 (the “Amendment”); and WHEREAS, the monthly guaranteed rates for the Term are set forth in the Amendment, annexed hereto as Attachment “A;” WHEREAS, the Mayor has recused himself from the award of this Agreement, including the execution of any documents related to this Agreement. NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that the Township shall and hereby does authorize the Agreement, at the guaranteed rates set forth therein; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief Financial Officer be and is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the Agreement; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be published and made available in the Clerk’s Office for reasonable inspection in accordance with applicable law.
