#13302058.1 19-23 January 10, 2023 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Matrix New World (“Matrix”) responded to the Township’s Request for Qualifications pursuant to a fair and open process for the award of a professional services agreement for Phase One Environmental Site Assessment for Former Barton Press Township- owned property located at 55 Lakeside Avenue, Block 115, Lots 15 and 17 (the “Property”); and WHEREAS, Matrix completed its Phase One Assessment for the Property, which concluded that there were areas of the Property that should be further investigated in a Phase Two Assessment; and WHEREAS, Matrix has submitted the proposal annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” to conduct Phase Two Assessment with regard to the Property. NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute an agreement, in the form annexed hereto, to retain Matrix as an Environmental Consultant for the Township on the terms and conditions set forth therein at a cost of $127,300.00; and it is further RESOLVED that notice of this award shall be published and available in the Clerk’s office in accordance with applicable law.
