AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER www.westorange.org 67-24 February 13, 2024 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange proposes 2023 NJDOT Local Transportation Project Funds (LTPF) Grant Project for Walker Road (from Gregory Avenue to S. Valley Road), S. Valley Road (from Walker Road to the Township Line with South Orange) and Rooney Circle Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, to design and specify these improvements the Township requires the services of a professional Engineering and Land Surveying firm; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer prepared a Request for Proposal dated January 19, 2024 for these professional design services; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer solicited a proposal from six professional Engineering and Land Surveying firms; and WHEREAS, Neglia Engineering Associates responded to the Request for Proposal; and WHEREAS, by letter dated February 6, 2024, the Municipal Engineer recommended a professional services contract be awarded to Neglia Engineering Associates, 34 Park Avenue, P.O. Box 426, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 for professional Engineering and Land Surveying services associated with the 2023 NJDOT Local Transportation Project Funds (LTPF) Grant Project for Walker Road (from Gregory Avenue to S. Valley Road), S. Valley Road (from Walker Road to Township line with South Orange) and Rooney Circle Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, Neglia Engineering Associates responded to the Township’s Request for Qualifications for Professional Services for 2024; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist for the services outlined in the proposal of Neglia Engineering Associates; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing.

AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER www.westorange.org NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, New Jersey that a professional services contract be awarded to Neglia Engineering Associates to provide professional Engineering and Land Surveying services for 2023 NJDOT Local Transportation Project Funds (LTPF) Grant Project in an amount not to exceed $28, 800.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be published in the West Orange Chronicle within ten (10) days of its approval as required by State Statute. Karen J.
