106-24 March 26, 2024 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GIFT WHEREAS, on October 6, 2023, a longtime resident donated the following vehicle to the Township of West Orange (the “Vehicle”): Make/Model: 2013 Acura RDX (silver) VIN No.: 5J8TB4H38DL020435 Miles: 102,552 WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A: 12-5 and N.J.S.A. 40A:5-29 authorizes the acceptance bequests, legacies and gifts; and WHEREAS, the bluebook value of the Vehicle was approximately $11,500; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the Township agrees to accept the Vehicle as a gift; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Business Administrator may acknowledge receipt of this gift.
