130-24 April 9, 2024 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) requires the resurfacing the crosswalks in an area of the Township located west of the border of the City of Orange border to Main Street and north of Washington Street to Harrison Avenue commonly known an as “The Heights;” and WHEREAS, Statewide Striping Corporation, located at 499 Pomeroy Road, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054 (“Statewide”) submitted a quote to the Township to perform the required crosswalk resurfacing for a price of $29,115.25; and WHEREAS, Statewide’s quoted price to the Township is 10% less than the estimates offered through the Morris County Cooperative Pricing Council and thus provides a discount for the Township; and WHEREAS, Statewide will perform the crosswalk resurfacing pursuant to the proposed Agreement, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A.” NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Township is hereby authorized to enter into the Agreement at a price not to exceed $29,115.25, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” with Statewide for the crosswalk resurfacing in “the Heights;” and be if further RESOLVED, that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute the Agreement annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” and the Township Clerk be and is hereby authorized to attest to the Mayor’s signature; and be it further RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be made available in the Clerk’s office in accordance with applicable law.
