2876-24 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 7, TRAFFIC, SUBSECTION 7-14.6 WINTER PARKING RESTRICTIONS, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, in the County of Essex, State of New Jersey as follows: Section 1. Subsection 7-14.6, Winter Parking Restrictions, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange is hereby supplemented and amended as follows: (italic type denotes deletion, bold type denotes addition): Name of Street Side Location Oxford Terrace East Entire Length Section 2. If any provisions of this Ordinance or application thereof, under any circumstances, is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect any of the provisions or applications of this Ordinance that can be given effect without the valid provision(s) or application and to this end, the provisions of this Ordinance are severable. Section 3. All other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4. 2876-24 LEGISLATIVE HISTORY This Ordinance will delete the present ban on parking on the east side of Oxford Terrace during the period from November 15th and April 15th. This change was requested by residents and approved by the Police Chief and Municipal Engineer. This change aligns the parking regulations on Oxford Terrace with all the other streets in the neighborhood, which ban overnight parking between 2AM-5AM.
