297-24 October 29, 2024 RESOLUTION To authorize the purchase of Ammunition and Related Accessories for the West Orange Police Department through a State Contract Vendor WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange as a contracting unit may, without advertising for bids, purchase any materials, supplies or equipment under any contract or contracts for such materials, supplies or equipment entered into on behalf of the State by the Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of the Treasury pursuant to the provision of N.J.S.A. 40A: ll-12, and WHEREAS, the Eagle Point Gun/T.J. Morris & Sons with an address of 1707 Third St, Thorofare, NJ 08086 has priced the following items in accordance with the State Contract #17-FLEET- 00721 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Municipal Council of the Township of West Orange hereby authorizes the Purchasing Agent to acquire ammunition and related accessories in the amount of $34,066.17 from Eagle Point Gun/T.J Morris & Sons with funds certified available from the Chief Financial Officer.
