329-24 November 25, 2024 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Matrix New World (“Matrix”) has prepared a proposal for environmental services associated with the pre-demolition of a structure located at the former Biddelman Site located at 4-10 Central Avenue in the Township; and WHEREAS, prior to demolition, it is critical to conduct a comprehensive regulated building material investigation and sampling/testing program for asbestos-containing materials as well as “other” potentially hazardous materials and/or conditions; and WHEREAS, this proposal will provide bid specifications and documents and bid assistance for the demolition of the Biddleman Site; and WHEREAS, Matrix has submitted the proposal annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” to conduct concrete sampling activities; NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute an agreement, in the form annexed hereto, to retain Matrix as to conduct work consistent with the Scope of Work in Exhibit “A” annexed hereto on the terms and conditions set forth therein at a cost of $51,400.00; Karen J.
