341-24 December, 10, 2024 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange proposes professional architectural services for miscellaneous improvements for Fire Stations No. 3, 4 and 5, to supplement and complete the design and prepare bid documents; and WHEREAS, to design these renovations the Township requires the services of a professional architectural firm; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer solicited a proposal from one professional architectural firm to supplement the work completed in 2022; and WHEREAS, Herbst-Musciano, LLC, responded to the Request for Proposal; and WHEREAS, by letter dated December 2, 2024, the Township Engineer recommended a professional services contract be awarded to, Herbst-Musciano, LLC, 611 Main Street, Second Floor, Boonton, NJ 07005 for professional architectural services associated with miscellaneous improvements for Fire Stations No. 3, 4 & 5; and WHEREAS, Herbst-Musciano, LLC, responded to the Township’s Request for Qualifications for Professional Services for 2024; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist for the services outlined in the proposal of Herbst- Musciano, LLC; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, New Jersey that a professional services contract be awarded to Herbst-Musciano, LLC, to provide professional architecture services for miscellaneous improvements for Fire Stations No. 3, 4 and 5 in the amount not to exceed $84,900.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be published in the West Orange Chronicle within ten (10) days of its approval as required by State Statute.
