347-24 December 10, 2024 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange requires Professional Land Surveying and Engineering Services for the 2024 Community Development Block Grants Road Rehabilitation of Franklin Avenue (from Main Street to Chestnut Street) and Oxford Place (from Cherry Street to Chestnut Street); and WHEREAS, to design and specify these improvements the Township requires the services of a professional land surveying and engineering firm; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer prepared a Request for Proposals dated November 19, 2024 for these professional design services; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer solicited proposals from five professional land surveying and engineering firms; and WHEREAS, Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI), responded to the Request for Proposal; and WHEREAS, GPI, have performed similar work for the Township on several projects and their work quality good; and WHEREAS, by letter dated December 4, 2024 the Township Engineer recommended a professional services contract be awarded to Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., 301 Gibraltar Drive, Suite 2A, Morris Plains, NJ 07950, for Professional Engineering Services associated with the 2024 Community Development Block Grants Road Rehabilitation of Franklin Avenue (from Main Street to Chestnut Street) and Oxford Place (from Cherry Street to Chestnut Street); and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist for the services outlined in the proposal of GPI; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, New Jersey that a professional services contract be awarded to Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., to provide professional land surveying and engineering services for the 2024 Community Development Block Grants Road Rehabilitation of Franklin Avenue (from Main Street to Chestnut

Street) and Oxford Place (from Cherry Street to Chestnut Street) in the amount not to exceed $26,608.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be published in the West Orange Chronicle within ten (10) days of its approval as required by State Statute. Karen J.
