348-24 December 10, 2024 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange requires Professional Land Surveying and Engineering Services for the MA 2025 NJDOT Municipal Aid Program, Helen Avenue, Lawrence Avenue, Florence Place and Lowell Avenue Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, to design and specify these improvements the Township requires the services of a professional land surveying and engineering firm; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer prepared a Request for Proposals dated November 19, 2024 for these professional design services; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer solicited a proposal from five professional land surveying and engineering firms; and WHEREAS, Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI), responded to the Request for Proposal; and WHEREAS, GPI, have performed similar work for the Township on many projects and their work quality is good; and WHEREAS, by letter dated December 4, 2024 the Township Engineer recommended a professional services contract be awarded to Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., 301 Gibraltar Drive, Suite 2A, Morris Plains, NJ 07950, for Professional Land Surveying and Engineering Services associated with the MA 2025 NJDOT Municipal Aid Program, Helen Avenue, Lawrence Avenue, Florence Place and Lowell Avenue Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist for the services outlined in the proposal of GPI; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, New Jersey that a professional services contract be awarded to Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., to provide professional land surveying and engineering services for the MA 2025 NJDOT Municipal Aid Program, Helen Avenue, Lawrence Avenue, Florence Place and Lowell Avenue Improvement Project in the amount not to exceed $26,615.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be published in the West Orange Chronicle within ten (10) days of its approval as required by State Statute. Karen J.
