360-24 Resolution Approving Contract with Zayibeth Carballo Township Engineer.pdf

360-24 December 10, 2024 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange requires the services of a Township Engineer; and WHEREAS, Zayibeth Carballo has the skill and experience to perform the responsibilities of the Township Engineer and Director of Engineering in an exceptional manner; and WHEREAS, the Township seeks to appoint Zayibeth Carballo as the Township Engineer for a term of beginning January 1, 2025 until December 31, 2027 in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140; and WHEREAS, the terms of Ms. Carballo’s employment as the Township Engineer are set forth in an Employment Agreement, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A,” and WHEREAS, Ms. Carballo shall exercise all his functions and perform his duties in accordance with all applicable ordinances and statutes; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to execute a copy of the Employment Agreement, annexed hereto and the Municipal Clerk be and is authorized to attest to the Mayor’s signature.
