44-25 January 28, 2025 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSAL FROM MATRIX NEW WORLD FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 25 LAKESIDE FOR LONG TERM MONITORING FOR VAPOR INTRUSION INVESTIGATION AND NJDEP SUBMISSION NTE $21,960.00 WHEREAS, on January 17, 2025, the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) received a proposal from Matrix New World Engineering, Land Surveying, and Landscape Architecture, P.C. (“Matrix”) to perform environmental services at: 25 Lakeside Avenue, West Orange, New Jersey, also known as Block 115 Lot 16 on the Township of West Orange Tax Map; and WHEREAS, the proposal reflects the vapor intrusion investigation, the preparation of deliverables to NJDEP that include data, report, and submission to NJDEP and the retention of a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) to conduct the investigation and monitoring at the Department of Public Works complex located at 25 Lakeside Avenue, West Orange, New Jersey; and WHEREAS, the vapor intrusion investigation is recommended as a part of the long-term monitoring (LTM) as identified by Vapor Intrusion Investigation Report prepared by CME Associates dated April 24, 2023 attached herein as Exhibit “B”; and NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that the Township accepts the proposal from Matrix attached herein as Exhibit “A,” not to exceed $21,960.00 to complete the scope of work; RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be made available in the Clerk’s office in accordance with applicable law.
