2898-25 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 7, TRAFFIC, SUBSECTION 7-33, SCHOOL ZONES, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, in the County of Essex, State of New Jersey as follows: Section 1. Subsection 7-33, School Zones, of the Revised General Ordinance of the Township of West Orange is hereby supplemented and amended as follows (italic type denotes deletion, bold type denotes addition): School Street Location Liberty Middle School Mount Pleasant Avenue From 641 Mount Pleasant (N.J. Route 10) Avenue, 450 feet west to . 657 Mount Pleasant Avenue. Kelly Drive From Mount Pleasant Avenue 1660 feet south to the southerly curbline of Baxter Drive extended. The following schools have changed names, and should be amended as follows (italic type denotes deletion, bold type denotes addition): Former Name Current Name Pleasantdale Elementary School Kelly Elementary School Our Lady of Lourdes School Mount Carmel Guild Academy Solomon Schechter School Golda Ochs Academy Lower Campus Saint Joseph’s School Fedcap School Section 2. If any provisions of this Ordinance or application thereof, under any circumstances, is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect any other provisions or applications of this Ordinance that can be given effect without the invalid provision(s) or application(s) and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are severable.

Section 3. All other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon final passage and publication in accordance with law and upon the approval by Resolution of the Essex County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
