2912-25 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.4 OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE (LICENSE FEES; MAXIMUM NUMBER) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, NEW JERSEY that Chapter 11, Section 3.4 of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange be and are hereby amended as follows: I. PURPOSE The purpose of this ordinance is to revise the municipal code setting for the license fees for liquor licenses issued by the Township of West Orange. The ordinance sets forth an annual increase of 20% until the fees reach $2,500. II. CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.4 SHALL BE AND HEREBY IS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED TO INCORPORATE THE FOLLOWING: 11-3.4 License Fees; Maximum Number. Effective May 1, 2025, the annual license fees and maximum number of licenses for the sale or distribution of alcoholic beverages within the Township shall be as follows: Class of License Annual License Fee No. of Licenses Plenary Retail Consumption $1,362.24 50 Seasonal Retail Consumption $1,021.68 0 Plenary Retail Distribution $988.34 16 Club License $188 1 Effective May 1, 2026, the annual license fees and maximum number of licenses for the sale or distribution of alcoholic beverages within the Township shall be as follows: Class of License Annual License Fee No. of Licenses Plenary Retail Consumption $1,634.69 50 Seasonal Retail Consumption $1,226.02 0 Plenary Retail Distribution $1,186.01 16 Club License $188 1 Effective May 1, 2027, the annual license fees and maximum number of licenses for the sale or distribution of alcoholic beverages within the Township shall be as follows: Class of License Annual License Fee No. of Licenses Plenary Retail Consumption $1,961.63 50 Seasonal Retail Consumption $1,471.22 0 Plenary Retail Distribution $1,423.21 16 Club License $188 1

REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES Any Ordinances of the Township which are in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. IV. SEVERABILITY If any part of this Ordinance shall be deemed invalid, such parts shall be severed and the invalidity thereof shall not affect the remaining parts of this Ordinance.
