115-25 April 22, 2025 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on February 21, 2023, the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) awarded resolution 52-23 for Armed/Unarmed Security Officers of Municipal Court Security (“Municipal Court Security Services”) for two years with an option to extend one year; and WHEREAS, the Municipal Court is satisfied with the current vendor Custom Protection Services (“CPS”) and current vendor has agreed to extend the contract for the additional year for $40.00 per hour per armed security officer and $27.00 per hour per unarmed security officer; and WHEREAS, the bid from CPS with its principal offices at 355 Lexington Avenue, Suite 501, New York, NY 10017 constitutes the lowest responsible bid for the proposed bid for Municipal Court Security Services; and NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter in agreement to retain CPS to provide Municipal Court Security Services to the Township on the terms and conditions set forth in the original bid with a not to exceed amount of $50,076.00.
