#14134969.1 118-25 April 22, 2025 RESOLUTION FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, COUNTY OF ESSEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, ADOPTING EMERGENCY TEMPORARY BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 FOR THE 2025 YEAR WHEREAS, it will be necessary to award contracts, incur commitments, and make payments during calendar year 2025 prior to the adoption of the municipal budget for calendar year 2025; and WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 provides for the creation of an emergency temporary appropriation for said purposes; and WHEREAS, the total emergency temporary appropriation resolutions in the year 2025 pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 96, P.L. 1951 (N.J.S.A.) 40A:4-20) including this resolution total $44,363,980.10; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, New Jersey, (not less than two-thirds of all members thereof affirmatively concurring) that in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20: 1.
