151-25 June 24, 2025 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, an application has been submitted by the Montclair Golf Club, which wishes to sponsor its annual Fourth of July fireworks exhibition at the Montclair Golf Club on Saturday, July 5, 2025 (Rain Date: Sunday, July 6, 2025); and WHEREAS, all of the necessary documentation has been submitted to the Township Clerk, on an Application for Permission to Conduct Fireworks Display (the “Application”), as required by State and local law; and WHEREAS, the Application indicates that Garden State Fireworks, Inc., P.O. Box 403, 383 Carlton Road, Millington, New Jersey, 07946, will provide and supervise the fireworks display; and WHEREAS, the Application has been reviewed and approved by the Township Fire Official, and confirms that a Certificate of Insurance naming the Township as an additional insured has been provided. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the Montclair Golf Club be and is hereby granted permission to conduct a firework display on Saturday, July 5, 2025 (Rain Date: Sunday, July 6, 2025); subject to the directives of the Fire Official, or his designees.
