236-25 October 28, 2025 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the West Orange Planning Board (the “Planning Board”) requires professional planning services for the remainder of 2025 following the resignation of the Nishuane Group, LLC effective September 10, 2025; and WHEREAS, Heyer Gruel & Associates had previously prepared and submitted a response to the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) Request for Qualifications to provide planning services for 2025; and WHEREAS, Heyer Gruel & Associates also provided an updated proposal to provide planning services for the Planning Board for the remainder of 2025 at a rate not to exceed $14,800; and WHEREAS, on October 3, 2025, the Planning Board adopted a resolution appointing Heyer Gruel & Associates as its professional plannings for the remainder of 2025, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A;” and WHEREAS, the resolution included a copy of Heyer Gruel & Associates’ updated proposal (the “Proposal”). NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute an agreement, consistent with the Proposal to retain Heyer Gruel & Associates to provide Professional Planning Services for the West Orange Planning Board at a rate not to exceed $14,800; and it is further RESOLVED that notice of this award shall be available in the Clerk’s office in accordance with applicable law.
