237-21 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPUTY CHIEF OF POLICE MICHAEL KEIGHER FOR THE FOR THE PERIOD OF JANUARY 1, 2021 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2025 WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) desires to enter into an agreement with Deputy Chief of Police Michael Keigher memorializing the terms and condition of his employment for the period of January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2025; WHEREAS, the terms of which are set forth in the Agreement between the Township of West Orange and Deputy Chief of Police Michael Keigher (the “Agreement”) attached hereto as Exhibit A; WHEREAS, the Mayor has reviewed the terms of the Agreement and deemed them to be acceptable; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the Township, the Agreement in substantially the form annexed hereto as Exhibit A and the Township Clerk be and is hereby authorized to attest to the Mayor’s signature.
