263-25 November 24, 2025 RESOLUTION PRESCRIBING FEES AS SET FORTH IN ORDINANCE 2944-25, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 19, SUBSECTION 19-1.3, AND CHAPTER 20 SUBSECTION 20-3.2 OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP WHEREAS, on November 24, 2025, the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) passed Ordinance 2944-25 (the “Ordinance”) on second reading, amending and supplementing Chapter 19, Subsection 1.3, and Chapter 20, Subsection 3.2 of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township related to Sewer and Street and Sidewalk Permit Fees; and WHEREAS, the Ordinance established Chapter 19, Subsection 1.3, and Chapter 20, Subsection 3.2 which prescribes fees to be set forth by Resolution for Permits associated with Sewer, Street, and Sidewalk inspections; and NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, the fees as set forth in Chapter 19-1.3 shall be prescribed as follows: Permits as herein shall be issued by the Township Engineer on payment of the following fees. For existing Township properties: a. New Sewer Connection Fee (including inspection): $300.00 b. Capping Existing Connection Fee (including up to two (2) inspections: $150.00 c. The permit obtained from the State of N.J. or Essex County Highway Department under Section 19-4 shall be delivered to the Township Engineer at the time of making application for curb connections, together the applicable fee above. This fee is in addition to any fees assessed by the State or County Highway Department. The fees as set forth in Chapter 20-3.2 shall be prescribed as follows: Fee Schedule Sidewalk Permit Length of Sidewalk Fee
