286-25 December 9, 2025 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT FOR GRANT FUNDING FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (USDOT) FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION (FHWA) FOR SAFE STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL (SS4A) GRANT PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Township has received notification of award for grant funding from the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Highway Administration Safe (FHWA) Streets and Roads for All Grant Program (SS4A) for FY 2024 for West Orange Supplemental Planning in the amount of $450,000.00 of which $112,500.00 is a required contribution of matching funds; and WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange is responsible for administering federal-aid funded projects in compliance with all federal-aid requirements established by the USDOT and FHWA; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey, that the Township of West Orange does hereby accept the Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant Program (SS4A) funding as follows: SS4A Grant Amount: $450,000.00 Other Federal Funding: $0.00 Township Matching Funds: $112,500.00 Total: $562,500.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the persons whose names, titles, and signatures appear below or their successors in said titles are authorized to sign the agreement, and any other documents necessary in connection therewith: Karen J.
