6-26 January 6, 2026 R E S O L U T I O N AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF A CASH MAINTENANCE BOND FOR COLONIAL WOODS NORTH AND EXTENSION OF NANCE ROAD DEVELOPMENT AS SHOWN ON THE FILED MAP ENTITLED “FINAL PLAT-BLOCK 173, LOT 2 AND BLOCK 172.29, LOT 40.02, COLONIAL WOODS NORTH, TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, ESSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY” WHEREAS, the developer, RCN Developers, LLC, (“Developer”) has requested the release of the cash maintenance bond associated with Colonial Woods North and Extension of Nance Road Development; and WHEREAS, the two-year maintenance bond has expired and the developer has requested the release of the cash bond; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 292-24 a cash maintenance bond in the amount of $117,964.44 was to be held until December 5, 2025; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, in the County of Essex and State of New Jersey that the cash maintenance bond for RCN Developers, LLC in the amount of $117,964.44 shall be released. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Township Clerk is hereby directed to transmit certified copies of this resolution to the following individuals and entities RCN Developers, LLC, Township Engineer, Chief Financial Officer, and Township Attorney.
