2951-26 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 7, TRAFFIC, SUBSECTIONS 7-7.3 TEMPORARY PARKING PROHIBITION FOR SNOW PLOWING AND REMOVAL, AND 7-14.1c NIGHT PARKING RESTRICTED, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, in the County of Essex, State of New Jersey as follows: Section 1. Subsection 7-7.3 Temporary Parking Prohibition for Snow Plowing and Removal, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange is hereby supplemented and amended as follows: (italic type denotes deletion, bold type denotes addition): Name of Street Side Days Location Kenz Terrace Both All Entire Length Section 2. Subsection 7-14.1c Night Parking Restricted, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange is hereby supplemented and amended as follows: (italic type denotes deletion, bold type denotes addition): EXCEPTIONS Name of Street Side Location Kenz Terrace Both Entire Length Section 3. All other ordinances in conflict or inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed, to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency. In the event of any inconsistencies between the provisions of this Ordinance and any prior ordinance of the Township, the provisions are hereof shall be determined to govern. All other parts, portions, and provisions of the Ordinances of the Township are hereby ratified and confirmed, except where inconsistent with the terms hereof. Section 4. If any provisions of this Ordinance or application thereof, under any circumstances, is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect any of the provisions or applications of this Ordinance that can be given effect without the valid provision(s) or application and to this end, the provisions of this Ordinance are severable. All other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

2951-26 LEGISLATIVE HISTORY This Ordinance creates an opportunity for overnight parking on Kenz Terrace, where residents have requested on-street parking in addition to their private driveways. In addition, the ordinance requires the residents to move those vehicles as needed for the purpose of snow plowing.
