33-26 February 10, 2026 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE PUBLIC AGENCY COMPLIANCE OFFICER FOR EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS WHEREAS, N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1, regulates Equal Employment Opportunity in the performance of contracts funded by the state of New jersey; and WHEREAS, the New Jersey State Treasurer authorized by N.J.S.A 10:5-36(f) and pursuant to N.J.S.C 17:27-3.2 requires each public agency to designate a Public Agency Compliance Officer; and WHEREAS, the Public Agency Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing vendor and contractor compliance with the State of New Jersey law and regulations concerning Equal Employment Opportunity in Public Contracts; and WHEREAS, the Business Administrator for the Township of West Orange has recommended that Panayiota Reynolds, the Township of West Orange Purchasing Agent to be appointed to fulfill the duties of the PACO. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey that 1) Panayiota Reynolds be and hereby is appointed the Township of West Orange Public Agency Compliance Officer for the 2026 year. 2) The Township clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution to the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Contract Compliance and Equal Opportunity office Karen J. Carnevale, R.M.C. Susan Scarpa Municipal Clerk Council President Adopted: February 10, 2026
