RESOLUTION R-96-2026 BOROUGH OF NORTH CALDWELL, ESSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY TITLE: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE FOR ANIMAL FACILITY SHELTERING SERVICES WHEREAS, the Borough of North Caldwell desires to contract with the Township of West Orange to provide Animal Facility Sheltering Services for the Year 2026; and WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40:8A-1 et. seq., the Interlocal Services Act, authorizes municipalities to enter into a contract for the joint provision of services; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer of the Borough has certified to the availability of funds for said purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of North Caldwell, County of Essex, State of New Jersey as follows: 1. The appropriate municipal officials be and hereby are authorized and directed to enter into an Interlocal Services Agreement for Animal Facility Sheltering Services with the Township of West Orange in the form annexed. 2. The Mayor and all other officials of the Borough of North Caldwell are hereby authorized to taken any and all necessary and appropriate actions to carry out the subject within this Resolution. Bs Upon execution by the parties, a copy of the subject agreement shall be maintained by the Borough Clerk for public inspection. 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage and publication in accordance with law, if required.
