198-26 July 21, 2026 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REFUND WHEREAS, on March 19th, 2026, Marie Jean-Baptiste, , West Orange, NJ 07052 provided a payment in the amount of $125.00; and WHEREAS, this amount represents the full amount of the security deposit made for the rental of Katz Community Center on September 26, 2026; and WHEREAS, security deposit is returned following the cancellation of the event and the hall is deemed satisfactory; and WHEREAS, Ms. Marie Jean-Baptiste is due a refund because she has complied with the rental agreement and all conditions were satisfactory met; and WHEREAS, the Recreation Department is requesting a refund for Ms. Marie Jean-Baptiste in the amount of $125.00; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the cost of the security deposit for Katz Civic Center be returned Marie Jean-Baptiste at her residence, West Orange, NJ in an amount of $125.00.
