The ordinance sets forth an annual increase of 10% until the fees reach $2,500. c. TABLED 2919-25 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 5, Sections 32.3 And 32.8 of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange (Police-Requesting Towing And Storage Services) (LegalMoon) The purpose of this ordinance is to revise the municipal code provision governing the licensing for towing companies operating within the Township of West Orange to extend the radius of the requirement for towing licensee’s principal storage yard from a principal storage yard located within the boundaries of the Township of West Orange to a principal storage yard within three (3) miles from the geographical center of the Township of West Orange. d. Ordinances on First Reading a. 2922-25 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-29.1. Speed Limits in General of The Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange (Carballo) This Ordinance amends Chapter 7, Subsection 29.1 of the Revised General Ordinances. It establishes a 20 M.P.H. speed limit within the Gregory School Zone on weekdays between 8AM10AM and 3PM-5PM when children are normally present. b. 2923-25 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-37.1b Municipal Parking Yards; Metered Parking, Permit Parking, Time Limited Parking (Carballo) This Ordinance amends and updates the previous list of Municipal Parking Yards to reflect various changes that have occurred since the last update. During the last revision of the Township Tax Maps, some lots were consolidated under one lot. The West Orange Library changed locations. Other addresses were changed to reflect the address listings of the Township Tax Assessor property list. c. 2924-25 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 20, Streets and Sidewalks, and Subsections 20-1 Et Seq of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange (Carballo) This ordinance amends and supplements Chapter 20 Streets and Sidewalks to supplement permit procedures and general specifications for contractors to excavate streets and sidewalks in the Township. It also outlines the requirement for applicants and contractors to provide a Public Works Contractor Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development at the time of applying for a road opening permit. Also, additional application procedures and requirements were added to Section 20.1C to supplement the ordinance. d. 2925-25 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 25, Section 11.10 of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange (Outdoor Cafes in the B-1, B-2, and PC Districts) (Legal-Gengaro) The purpose of this ordinance is to add additional requirements for establishments located in these B-1, B-2, and PC districts to operate an outdoor cafe.
