APPENDIX 11 - POLICE OFFICERS ENGAGED IN APPROVED EXTRA DUTY EMPLOYMENT Because of the myriad types of assignments that Police Officers may be called upon to perform, it is reasonable that different rates apply. a. Unless there are contractual agreements with a vendor/contractor to the contrary, the following rates of compensation apply: 1. Steady Security/Crowd Control Assignments. Steady security and crowd control assignments shall be paid at a rate of $32 per hour, per officer. This rate includes a $4 per hour, per officer administrative 2.
