Conference Meeting — July 12, 2016 The Township Council of the Township of West Orange met in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, and 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey at 6:36 p.m. Karen J. Carnevale, Municipal Clerk, read the following statement: This is to inform the general public that this meeting is being held in compliance with Section 5 of the Open Public Meetings Act, Public Law, 1975. A notice of this meeting was emailed to the Star Ledger and the West Orange Chronicle on October 14, 2015. Roll Call: Present: Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Guarino, Councilman Krakoviak, Councilwoman McCartney, Council President Cirilo and Mayor Parisi The Mayor presented a Proclamation to Rodofo Rodriguez, Deputy Mayor in recognition of being named the Grand Marshal of the 27" Annual Dominican Day Parade in New York City. Alex Baron and Kyra Miller, representatives for the American Cancer Society “West Orange Relay for Life” held in West Orange in June, gave an update about the fundraiser, called for volunteers for next year’s event and thanked the Township for their continued support. Richard Trenk, Township Attorney spoke about Operation Hope and explained that more volunteers were needed.
