Chairman Weston questioned how far should the bollards extend; might additional street lighting be considered. Mr. Eben stated that he liked what the County had done with the bollard lighting; he suggested extending the lighting further to along the bus station and Turtle Back Rock. Chairman Weston opined the type of lighting not be specific; the Board recommendation would be to extend the general lighting of the area. Mr. Gurland suggested installing lights that were flush to ground at the point where the bollard lighting ended; Chairman Weston opined flush lighting would be problematic because of snow and potential vandalism. He again suggested a different type of street lighting be considered. Recommendations: The County consider extending the lighting further east on Northfield Avenue; past the service road at the end of the campus to the bus stop continuing on to Walker Road up to Turtle Back Rock.
