1 Conference Meeting – October 26, 2016 The Township Council of the Township of West Orange met in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, and 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey at 6:33 p.m. Karen J. Carnevale, Municipal Clerk, read the following statement: This is to inform the general public that this meeting is being held in compliance with Section 5 of the Open Public Meetings Act, Public Law, 1975. A notice of this meeting was emailed to the Star Ledger and the West Orange Chronicle on October 14, 2015. Roll Call: Present: Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Guarino, Councilman Krakoviak, Councilwoman McCartney and Council President Cirilo. Presentations were made by Alex Baron on behalf of the Relay for Life Organization, by Megan Brill, Executive Director on behalf of the Downtown West Orange Alliance and by Richard Trenk, Township Attorney and James Abbott, Police Chief on behalf of Operation Hope. John Gross, CFO discussed the Best Practices Survey and a discussion was held with regard to the 2017 Council Meeting dates.
