3 e. 71-17 Resolution Authorizing Special Counsel Blau and Blau to File and Prosecute Affirmative Tax Appeals Specifically Properties at 490 Prospect Avenue and 275 Northfield Avenue (Legal-Moon) f. 73-17 Resolution Authorizing the Issuance of Raffle Licenses (Clerk) g. 75-17 Resolution Authorizing the Township to Enter into an Agreement with Matrix New World to Perform a Preliminary Assessment and Site Investigation on the Property Located at 18 Central Avenue within the Central Valley Redevelopment Area and Central Valley Brownsfield Area (Legal- Moon) This agreement is a requirement for the Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund grant totaling $77,237.90 from the Department of Environmental Protection and the Economic Development Authority. h. 76-17 Resolution Authorizing an Exemption from Real Estate Taxes for a Totally Disabled Veteran for Tax Year 2016 Pursuant to N.J.S. 54: 4-3.30 et seq. for Property at 45 Glen View Drive, West Orange, NJ (Block 166.15, Lot 5 C0045) (Tax Assessor) On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, the consent agenda was approved. All members voting “Aye.” Resolution(s) Removed from Consent Agenda Resolution 72-17 a. 72-17 Resolution Authorizing the Township to Execute a Sale Agreement for the Sale of the Property Located at 55-57 Ridgeway Avenue. (Legal-Moon) This sale follows the advertisement for and receipt of bids for the purchase of this property. The Agreement also includes and requires a Deed Restriction to limit the uses of the property consistent with the terms set forth in the Township’s advertisement for bid. On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilman Cirilo, the above mentioned resolution was approved.
