1 Conference Meeting – June 27, 2017 The Township Council of the Township of West Orange met in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey at 6:37 p.m., Karen Carnevale, Municipal Clerk read the following statement: This is to inform the general public that this meeting is being held in compliance with Section 5 of the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, Public Law 1975. The annual notice was emailed to the Star Ledger and filed in the Township Clerk’s office on November 28, 2016 and published in the West Orange Chronicle on December 8, 2016. Roll Call: Present: Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Cirilo, Councilman Guarino, Councilwoman McCartney and Council President Krakoviak. Council President Krakoviak presented a Citation on behalf of the Township Council recognizing UNICO of Orange and West Orange for their donation of radios to the West Orange Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Also recognized was the West Orange Chapter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for raising more than $36,000. at their event in May. Mr. Sayers gave an update as to the progress of the Redevelopment project on Main Street.
