4 Ordinances on Second and Final Reading Ordinance 2516-17 On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-32.2, Restricted Parking Zones, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange – Handicapped Spaces was taken up on second and final reading. All members present voting “Aye.” The Council President stated that this is the scheduled time for the public hearing and asked the Clerk to read the ordinance by title only. The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. No one wished to be heard. On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Councilman Guarino, the above mentioned ordinance was passed on second and final reading and ordered advertised according to law. All members present voting “Aye.” Ordinances on First Reading Ordinance 2517-17 On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Councilman Guarino, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 5, Sections 30.1 and 30.2 and Repealing Chapter 5, Sections 30.3, 30.4, 30.5, 30.6, 30.7, 30.8, 30.9, 30.10, 20.11, 30.12, 30.13, 30.14 and 30.15 of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange (Licensing of Taxicabs) was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on August 15, 2017. All members present voting “Aye.” Pending Matters/New Matters/Council Discussion Councilman Guarino gave an update as to the conditions at the Renna House and the discussions he’s had with the residents and the management company.
