A notice of this meeting was mailed to the Star Ledger and the West Orange Chronicle on November 19, 2010. A notice of this meeting was also posted on the Bulletin Board in the Municipal Building, West Orange and filed in the office of the Municipal Clerk of the Township of West Orange on November 19, 2010. Statement of Decorum In all matters not provided for in subsection 3-15.1 and except upon consent of the Council President, each person addressing the Council pursuant to this subsection shall be required to limit his or her remarks to five (5) minutes, and shall at no time engage in any personally offensive or abusive remarks. The chair shall call any speaker to order who violates any provision of this rule. Ordinances on Second and Final Reading a . 2317-11 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-12, Parking Prohibited for Street Cleaning and Maintenance, and Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-13 Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange This Ordinance amends two subsections of Chapter 7 of the Revised General Ordinances and Codify the Posted Regulations on the Street 10. Ordinances on First Reading a. 2318-11 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-32.2, Restricted Parking Zones of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange This Ordinance will create two on street handicapped parking stalls, one in front of 56 Elm Street and one in front of 9 Wheeler Street for the
evised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange This Ordinance will create two on street handicapped parking stalls, one in front of 56 Elm Street and one in front of 9 Wheeler Street for the exclusive use of a resident at each address who has a Disabled Persons ID and Handicapped Placard issued by the Motor Vehicle Commission. b. 2319-11 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 25-24.1 (d) of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange This legislation clarifies that a nonconforming use or structure may be restored or repaired in the event of a disaster such as a fire or flood. However, the Ordinance states that if more than fifty percent (50%) of the total square footage of the structure is removed absent the occurrence of a disaster the structure cannot be restored or repaired without the appropriate approvals from the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
