3 This resolution authorizes the Township to proceed with an application for the Municipal Alliance Grant for the fiscal year 2019. The Municipal Alliance Grant is provided through the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse that funds local prevention and treatment programs. 68-18 Resolution Authorizing the Collector of Taxes to Refund Payment to the Mortgage Company of the Listed Taxpayer Due to an Overpayment of Taxes Due to a County Board Judgment (Gagliardo) i. 71-18 Resolution of Support from the Township of West Orange Authorizing a Sustainable Jersey Grant Application (Kapura-Grantwriter) j. 72-18 Resolution Authorizing an Executive Session for the Purpose of Discussing with Township Council Potential Litigation Regarding the Designation of the Essex Green and Executive Drive Area as an Area in need of Redevelopment (Kayser) On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the consent agenda was approved. All members present voting “Aye.” Resolution(s) Removed from the Consent Agenda Resolution 60-18 60-18 Resolution Appointing Two (2) Members to the Rent Leveling Board Appointed by the Majority Vote of the Township Council (Legal-Moon) One member will be appointed for a one (1) year period and the other member of the Board appointed by the majority vote of the Township Council will be appointed for a two (2) year period. On motion made by Council President McCartney and seconded by Councilman Guarino, the above referenced resolution was approved. All members present voting “Aye.” Resolution 64-18 64-18 Resolution Authorizing the Township to Close on the Purchase of the Property Located at 665 Eagle Rock Avenue and the Purchase of Title Insurance for the Purchase of the Property (Legal-Moon) On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilman Cirilo, the above referenced resolution was approved. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Cirilo, Councilman Guarino, Council President McCartney voting “Aye.” Councilman Krakoviak voting “Nay.” Resolution 70-18 70-18 Resolution Authorizing a Professional Services Agreement with Wayne DeFeo, 15 Washington Valley Road, Somerset, NJ to Serve as the Environmental Compliance Officer for the Period January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
