DISCUSSION UPDATE Master Plan Reexamination Report 2018-2019 Continued from the December 5, 2018 regular meeting. DISCUSSION Mr. Grygiel gave the Board a brief recapitulation of the status of the 2019 Master Plan Reexamination Update. He stated had already met with Zoning Board representative, Mr. Neuer. He had several upcoming meetings scheduled with various Township departments, commissions and committees. He stated a public meeting had been scheduled for Tuesday, January 29, 2019, 7:00 PM. To 9:00 P.M. at Liberty Middle School. He stated it was noticed as a formal meeting of the Planning Board, however; the Public Notice stated there would be no formal action taken by the Board at the meeting. The meeting would essentially be an informational session to gather input from the Public, and allow the Board to educate the Public about Master Plan Reexamination process. Mr. Grygiel distributed a rough draft agenda for the upcoming meeting; he gave a brief outline of the draft agenda. The Board and Mr. Grygiel discussed the items outlined in the rough draft agenda; Mr. Grygiel confirmed he would make a PowerPoint presentation; he stated he would make an inquiry regarding the possibly of televising the meeting. Harvey Grossman, Esq., Public Advocate, suggested the Board consider a portion of the meeting be devoted to discussing the issue of an Area in Need of Redevelopment; specifically the Essex Green/Executive Drive properties. He opined it would be helpful to the Public to explain the redevelopment process. The Board determined the Master Plan Reexamination process would touch on the issue of redevelopment in the Township. Mr. Grygiel gave a brief recapitulation of the Master Plan Reexamination process; he stated the meeting on January 29, 2019 would be the first of approximately three or four Public meetings. Prior to meeting adjournment, Public Advocate, Harvey Grossman, Esq., was sworn in to testify before the Board for the year 2019. MEETING ADJOURNED at approximately 8:13 P.M.
