Show all pages3 Resolution Authorizing the Township to Execute a Municipal Services Agreement with Vizcaya Condominiums Regarding the Reimbursement for Municipal Services and Resolving Vizcaya’s Claim for Reimbursement of Municipal Services Since 2008 (Legal-Moon) On motion made by Councilwoman Matute-Brown and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the above referenced resolution was approved. All members present voting “Aye.” Resolution 221-19 Resolution Regarding the Turtle Back Zoo Expansion (Legal-Trenk) This resolution urges the County of Essex to address environmental concerns related to proposed improvements to the Turtle Back Zoo and South Mountain Reservation. On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Council President Guarino, the above referenced resolution was approved. Councilman Krakoviak, Councilwoman Matute-Brown, Councilwoman McCartney and Council President Guarino voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Casalino voting “Nay.” Resolution 223-19 Resolution authorizing the Township to Enter into a Memorandum of Grant Agreement with Luna Stage whereby the Township Shall Provide a Grant of $8,000 Towards Arts Education Programs to be Provided by Luna Stage (Legal-Moon) On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Council President Guarino, the above referenced resolution was approved. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman Matute-Brown, Councilwoman McCartney and Council President Guarino voting “Aye.” Councilman Krakoviak “Nay.” Ordinance(s) on Second and Final Reading Ordinance 2582-19 On motion made by Councilwoman Matute-Brown and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 2, Section 54 of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange (Mayor’s Program for the Uniquely Gifted) of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange was taken up on second and final reading. All members present voting “Aye.” The Council President stated that this is the scheduled time for the public hearing and asked the Clerk to read the ordinance by title only. The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. There was no one who wished to be heard and public comment was closed. On motion made by Council President Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman Matute-Brown, the above referenced ordinance was approved.
