7 Pending Matters/New Matters/Council Discussion Lenny Lepore gave an update on the Degnan Field Improvements Project, explaining that a change order is required due to some unforeseen obstacles that the contractor encountered. Also discussed was the possibility of in person meetings. At this time, a motion was made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney to recess the Council meeting and enter into an ABC Hearing. All members voting “Aye.” Resolution 659-21 a. 659-21 Hearing on Renewal for Plenary Retail Consumption, Distribution and Club Licenses for the 2021-2022 License Term (Clerk) On motion made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Council President Matute-Brown, the above referenced resolution was approved. All members voting “Aye.” Resolution 660-21 b. 660-21 Hearing on Renewal for 2021-2022 License Term – SuzyQues, LLC 0722-33-009-012 (Special Conditions) On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilman Rutherford, the above referenced resolution was approved. All members voting “Aye.” Resolution 662-21 d. 662-21 Resolution Authorizing an Extension of Premises for License No. 0722-31-074-001, West Orange Elks Home, Inc., 424 Main Street, West Orange, NJ (Kayser) On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Williams, the above referenced resolution was approved. Council President Matute-Brown, Councilwoman Casalino and Councilwoman McCartney voting “Aye.” Councilman Rutherford voting “Nay” and Councilwoman Williams abstained.
